Before I become mum, I scoffed at how parents claim that their weary souls can be comforted by the sight of their child welcoming them home. After I become one, I became exactly like the ones I could not understand.
I don't know how my child does it but when his eyes light up when he sees me, goes," Mama!" and run to the door to hold my hand and pull me in, my worries can literally be wiped away.
Seeing the smiles on my love ones' faces is my greatest gift and as unbelievable as it is, with them in my lives, I feel invincible. Not literally but I am always ready to take on the world, be a better person regardless of any challenges and be there for them.
